From the bustling cities of Madrid and Barcelona, to the stunning beaches of the Costa del Sol and the Balearic Islands, Spain has a wealth of attractions to explore. Visitors can indulge in the country's rich history and culture by visiting iconic landmarks such as the Alhambra Palace in Granada and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Foodies will delight in the delicious cuisine, including paella, tapas, and sangria. Spain is also known for its lively nightlife, with clubs and bars open until the early hours of the morning. With its warm climate, friendly locals, and endless activities, Spain is the perfect destination for a memorable vacation.

Spain Immunization Recommendations and Requirements

Before traveling, make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine immunizations including influenza and COVID-19. Note that many vaccines that are now considered "routine" were not available until recent decades so you may not have received them at all, depending on your age and other factors.

Infants, 6 to 11 months old should receive one dose of MMR prior to visiting Spain. This does not count toward routine childhood immunizations.
