Marshall Islands

The Marshall Islands, located in the Pacific Ocean, offer a unique and remote travel experience for those seeking adventure and relaxation. With pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and a rich cultural history, the Marshall Islands are a hidden gem for American travelers. Visitors can explore the underwater world through snorkeling and diving, learn about the island's history and traditions through cultural tours, and indulge in local cuisine. The Marshall Islands also offer a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse oneself in the natural beauty of the islands.

Marshall Islands Immunization Recommendations and Requirements

Before traveling, make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine immunizations including influenza and COVID-19. Note that many vaccines that are now considered "routine" were not available until recent decades so you may not have received them at all, depending on your age and other factors.

Infants, 6 to 11 months old should receive one dose of MMR and Hepatitis A prior to visiting Marshall Islands. This does not count toward routine childhood immunizations.
