Togo

Togo is a small West African country that offers a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty. Visitors can explore the vibrant markets and colonial architecture of the capital city, Lomé, or venture into the countryside to discover traditional villages and stunning landscapes. Togo is also home to several national parks, including Fazao-Malfakassa and Kéran, where visitors can see a variety of wildlife and enjoy hiking and camping. The country's rich cultural heritage is on display in its museums and festivals, such as the Voodoo Festival in Ouidah. With its warm hospitality and diverse attractions, Togo is a hidden gem for adventurous travelers seeking an authentic African experience.

Togo Immunization Recommendations and Requirements

Before traveling, make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine immunizations including influenza and COVID-19. Note that many vaccines that are now considered "routine" were not available until recent decades so you may not have received them at all, depending on your age and other factors.

Infants, 6 to 11 months old should receive one dose of MMR and Hepatitis A prior to visiting Togo. This does not count toward routine childhood immunizations.
