Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is a country rich in history, culture, and natural beauty, making it an ideal destination for tourists. Visitors can explore ancient ruins, such as the Nabatean city of Madain Saleh, or marvel at the modern architecture of cities like Riyadh and Jeddah. The country is also home to stunning natural wonders, including the Red Sea coast and the Al Wahbah Crater. Visitors can experience traditional Saudi Arabian hospitality by sampling local cuisine, attending cultural festivals, and visiting historic sites such as the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi mosque in Medina. With its warm climate, diverse landscapes, and welcoming people, Saudi Arabia offers a unique and unforgettable travel experience.

Saudi Arabia Immunization Recommendations and Requirements

Before traveling, make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine immunizations including influenza and COVID-19. Note that many vaccines that are now considered "routine" were not available until recent decades so you may not have received them at all, depending on your age and other factors.

Infants, 6 to 11 months old should receive one dose of MMR and Hepatitis A prior to visiting Saudi Arabia. This does not count toward routine childhood immunizations.
