About the Role

We are seeking help answering incoming customer calls, booking appointments and handling various administrative tasks. The estimated start date is August 1, 2022. The job is a bit technical because it requires (a) the ability to navigate the patient records software, and (b) a basic understanding of pre-travel medicine--enough of an understanding to book the patient anyway. Training will be provided to the extent possible but it will require  (paid) self-study as well. 

Personality-wise, we are looking for someone who is very personable and who can connect well with our customers/patients. 

This is a brand new business so things may change quickly. The ability to adapt is key. We really need someone who can take initiative. 

Salary is $18 per hour for entry-level; higher for experienced applicants.

Location: Mesa, AZ (this may require some paid travel back and forth to our Chandler location; work-from-home options are available but we need someone who lives locally and can come in at least 1x per week)

Required skills: Good oral and written communication, good ability to operate a computer, office software and other key software that is essential to our practice.

Bonus would be someone able to help us with marketing tasks (content writing, social media, graphics, etc.)

About Away Clinic

Away Clinic is a new medical practice specializing in travel health. At Away Clinic, we provide immunizations for travel destinations all over the world. We also offer counseling and recommendations for travel health that are consistent with guidelines from the U.S. Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. We know how much planning goes into a trip. Our goal is to help travelers manifest a safe, healthy and fun time while they are there.
