Lebanon

Lebanon is a small country located in the Middle East, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning natural beauty. Tourists can explore ancient ruins such as the Roman temples of Baalbek, visit the vibrant capital city of Beirut, and enjoy the Mediterranean coastline with its crystal-clear waters and sandy beaches. Lebanon is also famous for its delicious cuisine, which includes dishes such as hummus, tabbouleh, and shawarma. Despite its turbulent past, Lebanon is a safe and welcoming destination for tourists, offering a unique blend of modernity and tradition.

Lebanon Immunization Recommendations and Requirements

Before traveling, make sure you are up-to-date on all of your routine immunizations including influenza and COVID-19. Note that many vaccines that are now considered "routine" were not available until recent decades so you may not have received them at all, depending on your age and other factors.

Infants, 6 to 11 months old should receive one dose of MMR and Hepatitis A prior to visiting Lebanon. This does not count toward routine childhood immunizations.
